Erin Inglish!
San Luis Obispo, CA
Banjo Songstress

During the two weeks that BanjerDan is at Burning Man, his role as banjo-playing host(ess) will be ably filled by Erin Inglish!

"Erin Inglish is California’s banjo sweetheart! A native of the California Central Coast, Erin delivers a unique presentation of voice and banjo that is reminiscent of the sounds of John Hartford and the activist stylings of Peggy Seeger. Formerly a mechanical engineer in the field of sustainability, Erin now tours internationally as a folk music troubadour. She has lived in India, Madagascar, Bulgaria and Serbia, and her songwriting reflects her worldly travels and grounding passion for sustainability and art. In April, 2013, Erin released her first solo album titled, “A Melody So Sweet,” and then toured – by bicycle – the entire coast of California to celebrate Earth Month. From the thoughtful and conscientious messages in her songwriting, to her magnetic and entertaining stage-presence, Erin is a consummate performer and humanistic storyteller."

Renee Dion
Columbus, OH
Eclectic Singer-Songwriter

"Renee Dion’s soulful sound could be heard on music blogs across the web, on albums by alternative soul icons, and in clubs and festivals from her hometown, Columbus, Ohio, to New York City. And as her fans anticipated her fourth project, life came at her fast–she took a musical break. What emerged from Renee’s hiatus is a simmering album, HAVEN where she breaks free of her normal setting of an external producer directed album and found her soul trappings and plays in an uncharted space musically producing her own project with the help of one of Columbus Ohio’s musical geniuses Jonathan Baker assisting her in some of the tracks. Renee has crafted a delicate safe space of honest music creating a home within her lyrics and detailing patience through some of life’s harsh and gorgeous transitions as Gods child a woman and an artist."

Detlene
SF Bay Area, CA
Singer-Songwriter

"After touring the continent with various rock and metal acts for over a decade, performing at renown venues such as Slim's in San Francisco and The Whisky in Hollywood and sharing the stage with such acts as The Word Alive, Atreyu's Brandon Saller, Norma Jean, He Is Legend and The Dillinger Escape Plan, Bobby Detlene found his own sound and purpose as a solo artist.
"Performing both full-band and as an acoustic solo artist, (described as an "acoustic Breaking Benjamin") Bobby blends hard rock with an acoustic atmosphere to form the perfect balance of aggression and melody."
