| The large clearspan requirements for
the ice skating complex shown above were further complicated by the
fact that the architect desired a curved roof. The architect approached
RIGID about the feasibility of accomplishing this. RIGID created a
scaled model in their shop to determine which type of panel and the
maximum bending radius that could satisfy the required result. |

| The
unique structure
shown to the right encloses Six Flags Astroworld's newest ride, an
indoor roller coaster. The architect designed the building to resemble a Mayan ruin pyramid. RIGID designed the structure according to specific deflection criteria required for the dryvit wall finishes that were applied to the outside of the metal panels. These dryvit wall finishes achieved the desired exterior effect. |

98 foot eave height
structure shown above, towers over the Houston Ship Channel. This structure also supports several 40 ton overhead cranes. To control the deflection, RIGID designed and manufactured seventy inch deep columns. |
