SILLY LUB-SONGZ SONG-WRITER CONTEST AT LAST STAGE WEST RESTAURANT, FEB. 14 RESULTS Last Stage West Valentine's Day Song-Writer Contest Results, Winners and Prizes The time has come, the results are in! We had a total of 11 singers, two of whom (Skip and John) competed together. 28 voter-slips were turned in from the show-audience. Results were tabulated carefully. Some singers were better represented in audience numbers as far as friends and family, but everyone receives a very nice prizes. Thanks again to our sponsors, please support these businesses. Here are the results and prizes, then see below for further instructions, pick-up, etc. FIRST-PLACE, Best-of-Show: a TIE between Tyler Bundy, and Sanden Gocken. Gifts are: Tyler receives an LRBaggs DI Venue Acoustic Pre-amp, an LRBaggs hooded sweatshirt, and a set of Ernie Ball Guitar strings. Sanden will receive the second DI Venue Acoustic Pre-amp, and the musician's promotional digital photo-shoot from Otter-Love Photography. Congrats! SECOND PLACE: Joey Racano. Joey will receive the wine-basket from Frolicking Frogs Winery, which includes a bottle of wine, pasta products, food, and many items. THIRD PLACE: Hal Guio. Hal will receive the lavendar-products basket from Frolicking Frogs Winery, with some very nice oil, bath, soap and food products, and also a Blues-guitar music CD from Central Coast Music, from a band called 'Nighthawks'. BEST PERFORMANCE: a TIE between Cristoff, and Mike McClain. Cristoff will receive the LRBaggs hooded sweatshirt, and a bottle of the Chaparrel Roasted Pepper Blackberry Vinegar, and a John Mooney 'All I Want' music-CD; Mike will receive a music CD by 'Crossroads', an LRBaggs T-shirt, and also one of the gourmet vinegars. BEST DUET: Skip and John (Too Old to Be Famous)-awarded to both, Skip and John will one of the LRBaggs sweatshirts, an LRBaggs music-art poster, and a tin of chocolate truffles from Herrmann's Chocolate Labs. Congrats! HONORABLE MENTION and BEST-OF-THE-REST: Mo Element, Bob Owens, and Sam Rabellino.
